PepUp is committed to providing reliable, affordable energy that works for our neighbors. For many, this means gas and oil products. Relying solely on the electric grid can leave customers vulnerable to blackouts, winter storms, and price surges. Solar and wind can be good options, but come with a high up-front investment and costly repairs. In addition, many of our neighbors have limited options due to geographic location. However, just because using oil and gas products may be necessary, doesn’t mean it’s all bad news for the environment.

Highly Efficient & Low Carbon

Propane heating furnaces are rated between 90% and 98% efficient. They qualify for the prestigious “Most Efficient” label from EnergyStar, and have smaller carbon footprints than most other systems — including natural gas!

Clean Burning

Breathe better with an approved clean energy source under the Clean Air Act of 1990. Propane does not contaminate soil, air, or water sources. For home heating, propane produces 50% less greenhouse gases than electric furnaces and 22% less than electric heat pumps!

Domestic & Abundant

Propane is a domestically produced, well established fuel. It’s readily available and abundant, so it has great power resiliency.

Reliable in an Emergency

Weather is becoming more volatile, and storms can cause massive impact on homes and businesses that rely on the energy grid. Propane is kept on site to power generators and save lives during weather emergencies.

Flexibility

Propane is not only a great supplement to alternative forms of energy, such as wind and solar. Scientists have also developed renewable propane, thanks to the incredible camelina plant!

[/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row wrap_container=”yes” css=”.vc_custom_1682009316186{padding-top: 50px !important;}” conditional_render=”%5B%7B%22value_role%22%3A%22administrator%22%7D%5D”][vc_column el_class=”pb-3 my-5″][vc_custom_heading text=”Going Green by the Numbers” font_container=”tag:h2|text_align:center” use_theme_fonts=”yes” animation_delay=”300″ animation_type=”fadeInUp” el_class=”mb-0″][vc_separator color=”custom” align=”align_left” border_width=”4″ css_animation=”left-to-right” style=”solid” el_class=”custom-separator custom-separator-1 my-3 text-center” accent_color=”#cd2027″][vc_row_inner css=”.vc_custom_1686233695209{margin-top: 20px !important;margin-bottom: 20px !important;padding-top: 40px !important;padding-bottom: 10px !important;background-color: #033d51 !important;border-radius: 20px !important;}”][vc_column_inner][vc_raw_js]JTNDc2NyaXB0JTIwaWQlM0QlMjJpbmZvZ3JhbV8wXzE1ZDgwNjI5LTE0ZjQtNGMyMC04YTBhLWQwMTdlNmY0N2QyMyUyMiUyMHRpdGxlJTNEJTIyVjIlMjBQcm9wYW5lJTIwYW5kJTIwdGhlJTIwRW52aXJvbm1lbnQlMjIlMjBzcmMlM0QlMjJodHRwcyUzQSUyRiUyRmUuaW5mb2dyYW0uY29tJTJGanMlMkZkaXN0JTJGZW1iZWQuanMlM0Z5VFIlMjIlMjB0eXBlJTNEJTIydGV4dCUyRmphdmFzY3JpcHQlMjIlM0UlM0MlMkZzY3JpcHQlM0U=[/vc_raw_js][vc_column_text]
